Who we are

This website is run by Passive House Files ("we," "us," "our"). We publish digital guides about heating, cooling, and powering a home more efficiently.

Buying a guide

All purchases are handled by our checkout and payment providers, Hotmart and Stan Store. When you click a "Get" button, you leave this website and complete your order on Hotmart's or Stan Store's secure checkout page. That provider's own terms and privacy policy apply to your checkout.

Prices are shown in US dollars. The checkout provider may show the price in your local currency and may add local taxes at checkout.

After payment, the checkout provider emails you a link to download your guides. Every guide is a digital PDF. Nothing physical is shipped.

Refunds

Every purchase is covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee. Refund requests are handled through the checkout provider you bought from (Hotmart or Stan Store). Use the support details in your purchase confirmation email, within 7 days of buying.

Your licence to use the guides

When you buy a guide, you get a personal licence to read, download, and print it for your own home and household.

You may not resell, share, upload, or give away the guides or any part of them, or pass them off as your own work. The text, images, and designs in the guides and on this website belong to Passive House Files and are protected by copyright.

Safety and professional advice

Our guides and this website provide general information for education only. They are not professional engineering, electrical, building, or financial advice.

Work involving electricity, solar panels, batteries, gas, wood stoves, heating systems, roofs, or the structure of your home can be dangerous.
